Michael Kircher is a freelance photographer living in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He is currently at work on various editorial projects. His images have appeared in National Parks and Maryland Life magazines. For some years now he has been documenting the Potomac River Gorge and the many ways people make use of this unique natural area. Great photographic challenges and inspiration continue to drive this ever evolving project.
